Regions
Regions are the clips on a track: an audio take, a video shot, a set of notes, a baked composition or an automation curve. A region always carries its track’s colour unless you recolour it.
Working with regions
Section titled “Working with regions”- Move a region by dragging it; trim it by dragging either edge. Both follow the current Snap mode.
- Select several regions by dragging across empty space or shift-clicking.
- Copy and paste regions with Cmd/Ctrl+C and Cmd/Ctrl+V; Delete or Backspace removes the selection.
- Double-click a MIDI region to open the MIDI editor, or an audio region to open the wave editor.
