Assets & version control
Assets is the file library of the Space. Every file is version-controlled, so you can look at its history and restore an earlier version.
Folders
Section titled “Folders”Each Space has fixed top-level folders: audio, video, images, 3d, projects, lyrics, actions, the pre/ folders for Story, Canvas, Board, Look and Notes, and a few for specialised assets. Add your own with New Folder.
Views and sorting
Section titled “Views and sorting”Switch between Grid view, List view and Column view. Sort by Name, Size, Type, Created or Updated, and group by No Groups, By Kind or By Date. The view you choose is remembered on this device.
Search
Section titled “Search”The search box understands prefixes: t:audio filters by type, tag:sfx by tag, desc:piano by description. Plain words match the name.
Importing
Section titled “Importing”Click Import, or drop files onto the page. If a name already exists you choose Skip, Keep Both or Replace.
Working with a file
Section titled “Working with a file”Right-click for Open, Details, History, Add to Timeline, Preview 3D, Edit in Paint Tool, Convert to M4A, Rename (F2), Lock / Unlock and Delete (Del).
The inspector shows the file’s info, Tags, a Description and threaded comments where peers can reply.
Project files
Section titled “Project files”A project preview shows its BPM, duration, tracks, regions, time signature and key. Projects are exported with their assets from Spaces → Projects → Export project.
