MCP server
Plinken exposes a Model Context Protocol server at https://mcp.plinken.com/mcp. Point an MCP client such as Cursor or Claude Desktop at it, and the client can read and change a project the same way Plinky does.
Public tools
Section titled “Public tools”These need no credentials: version, get_features, get_pricing and search_docs, which searches this help site.
Tools that act on a Space
Section titled “Tools that act on a Space”The rest take a Space token and work on the Space it belongs to:
| Group | Tools |
|---|---|
| Transport | play, stop, pause, seek, to start, go to end, step bars and frames, set BPM, time signature, key, metronome, count-in, cycle, record and automation arm, read the transport state |
| Projects | list, find, select, create, and summarise projects; read the Space context |
| Tracks and regions | list tracks and regions, add or remove tracks, apply track operations, add or remove audio regions, set region properties, tempo points, project duration |
| Assets | list the Space’s files and project assets, register an audio asset |
| Compositor | list layers and set a layer parameter |
| AI | quote and commit a paid generation in Plin |
| Pages and docs | write, read, list and delete HTML pages; read and write agent docs |
| Memory | remember, recall and forget facts for the Space |
The agent pays for AI from the Space owner’s Plin balance, exactly like a person would.
For language models
Section titled “For language models”This site publishes /llms.txt (an index) and /llms-full.txt (every page in one file) for agents that read documentation directly.
This section is being expanded.
